6. How do I know if I am authorized to enter the agreement on my organization's behalf?
	This will vary from organization to organization, and is subject to CPCC's agreement. Before beginning the application process, you have the opportunity to print out a sample contract. Review the terms and conditions carefully. If you are still not sure whether you have the authority to enter into such an agreement, show the contract to your legal counsel, and/or to the individual who has cheque-signing authority. If the only entity authorized to enter the zero-rating agreement with CPCC is not based in Canada, that entity may enter into the agreement if it is registered to do business in Canada. However, a Canadian contact (including mailing address and telephone number) must be provided in the application, and zero-rated purchases may only be made by the specified Canadian entity registered to do business in Canada. If the only individual authorized to sign the zero-rating agreement on your business/organization's behalf is not in Canada, that individual may sign the contract on your behalf.
